The production of mould plates starts with the continuous casting mold , which is then die-cast in brams. The brams are hot-rolled or forged, and then cold-rolled . After an ultrasound , test, which must, needless to say, be passed 100%, the next step involves mechanical processing with high-precision control equipment so as to meet the geometrical tolerances specified in the construction projects. In this phase EM can also weld the continuous casting mold studs, when such a step is called for in the technical specifications |
